Wylie Antique Machinery Society

The Wylie Antique Machinery Society is a passionate group dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history of agriculture through antique tractors and equipment. We take pride in restoring these machines to working conditions and sharing them with the community.

  • We restore and maintain antique tractors and equipment, keeping the stories of the “good old days” alive.
  • By bringing these once-powerful machines back to life, we allow them to rumble and churn once again.
  • We believe these pieces of history are valuable resources for educating younger generations about how farming was done in the past.

Preserving History Through Antique Tractors & Equipment

Our mission is to keep the stories of the “good old days” alive by restoring and maintaining antique tractors and equipment. We take these once-powerful machines and bring them back to life, allowing them to rumble and churn once again. We believe these pieces of history are valuable resources for educating younger generations about how things used to be done.

Beyond Shine and Polish: A Unique Approach to Restoration

We take a unique approach to restoration. While some of the equipment in our collection is meticulously restored to its original condition, showcasing its former glory, we also preserve some equipment in its “work clothes.” These machines, dented and scratched, bear the marks of years of hard labor. We believe both the shiny and the well-worn machines have stories to tell, offering a glimpse into the realities of farm life from yesteryear.

From Fields to Festivals: Keeping the Past Running

We don’t just keep our collection hidden away. We actively share these historic machines with the community by participating in tractor shows, parades, and city/county festivals. Seeing these machines in action allows people to connect with the past and appreciate the ingenuity and hard work that went into cultivating the land.
